This is sad, 7 years of your life lost! I am sorry for the young ones who will be forced to live in the new normal and would lose the chance to frolic in the beaches, frequent the playgrounds and parks, be given or attend birthday parties, go malling with family and friends and a lot more. More sorry for the young once who will just be content with binge watching Netflix and being a plantLola/Lolo because they need to stay indoors. I am also apprehensive of the impending opening of schools. Are we ready in terms of logistics and safety protocols? Are the children ready for the discipline it would take to be safe so they can stay away from infection in their day to day existence as a student?
COVID is really the greatest equalizer... young/old; rich/poor, pretty/ugly, smart/dumb, wherever and whatever you are... everyone is at it's mercy. So humbling isn't it? Friends and foe let's continue praying for each other's safety and most of all let's continue to live.
